Canowindra High School serves as Balloon HQ during the event. The school hall offers all the services needed for briefings and selected class rooms serve as officials rooms and debriefing room.
A not to be missed spectacle featuring at least 15 balloons with burners on full burn.
There will be 3 access gates to the site, the main ones are off Ross Street opposite Belmore Street and off Tilga Street opposite Clyburn Street, The 3rd gate is off Rodd Street but this is a single gate and mainly for the spectators thet have pre-paid.
Arrive early and enjoy the family friendly market with food and wine available at affordable prices. Pre-Paid Wrist bands are available at various outlets in Cowra and Canowindra including the Cowra Tourist Information center, the Age Of FishesMuseum canowindra and the Canowindra News Agency.. so buy them early and save waiting in line at the gate.
Food & Wine Market opens at 4.30pm with the balloon glow from 7pm In 2013 there will be special parking for disabled spectators but they are required to register prior to the event by email toinfo@canowindrachallenge.org.au.
